Big Turn Out Enjoys Summer's Day

Agiassiotes bring in the New Year with a Scorcher of a Picnic

In what will be remembered as a fantastic summer's day picnic, the Progressive Community of Agiassos celebrated the New Year at Gunnamatta Bay, Cronulla.

On  a bright and sunny day, members and guests enjoyed the delicious souvlakia and loukanika- cooked by the Committee.

There was something for everyone, whether it was a swim in the bay, singing the New Year's carols or jamming with a friendly Pacifica Islander group.

"We could not have asked for a better day. We had a very big turnout and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves," stated President, Nikolaos Savvas.
