Patrons were treated to a pre-film cocktail party of tradional Greek culinary delights which created a very relaxed Sunday evening mood.

Both the Chairperson of the Greek Film Festival of Sydney Organising Committee, Nia Karteris, and President of the Mytilenian Brotherhood of Sydney, Stavros Kritikos, expressed their excitement at the enormous interest and response of film and such events were the ideal platforms for different organisations, such as the Greek Orthodox Community of NSW and Mytilenian Brotherhood of Sydney, to co-operate and work together.
