On a glorious Autumn day, the Progressive Community of Agiassos held their Autumn excursion for members, their families and friends to western
On the way, the busload of travellers were treated to plenty of laughter, as the daring ones recounted humorous anecdotes, while others entertained with satire. President, Nikos Savvas, also welcomed members and friends to the excursion and wished them an enjoyable day.
“We organised a much shorter excursion this time, because we understand people’s busy lifestyle and other social obligations they may have. With a short excursion to break the daily monotony of our lives, people do not get tired as much and the return to the city is not late, so everyone should be much happier with this,” explained Nikos Savvas.
At Warragamba Dam’s idyllic picnic area, a BBQ was organised by the bus company, while everyone enjoyed the country atmosphere of the area. Nature-lovers enjoyed the strolls in the bushland, while others simply caught up with friends.

The excursion was also attended by the Mytilenian Brotherhood of Sydney’s President, Stavros Kritikos, and Vice President, Grigoris Xafellis (from Agiassos).
