Annual General Meetings and a Continuation of the Same Success

The Antissian Association of Sydney (NSW) recently held its Annual General Meeting on Sunday October 25 at the Mytilenian House.
For approximately two-and-a-half hours, the important matters discussed were:  
  • Positive financial figures from 2008/2009 year
  • The successful donations and charity events held during the year
  • Discussed the profit/loss of every Antissian event held throughout the last financial year – major talking point was the 500 people at our dance, members were very happy seeing new generation of Antissians and friends, reminded everyone of the 60’s and 70’s.

The members discussed and have accepted the new Committee as being:
President – John Loukadellis
Vice President – Mary Gialopouli (takes over from her mother Roza)
Secretary – Peter Dalgitis
Treasurer – Maria Iatrou
The remainder of the Committee is:

“I would like to congratulate Maria Iatrou (Treasurer) and Mary Gialopouli (Vice President) who are two new neolea and have been officially accepted by our members to join the committee. Now our Antissian Association has 4 Antissian Youth in a committee of 9 and has also welcomed Trish Loukis as potential committee member for 2010,” stated President, John Loukadellis. .
“Trish has been an active supporter and helper of the Association. She will be attending meetings and working closely with the committee on organising events and future functions of our association.
 
A great result and a successful meeting, showing our association has youth who are keen to join the committee and work hard so that Antissa can and will be proudly represented in NSW, Australia for many years to come”.
