"Through raffle sales, donations and entry fee we raised $8,000.00 for the restoration efforts for the monastery in our village. We will have another function soon to raise a further few dollars so that we can send a good sized cheque to help beautify the village where our roots lay and keep this special landmark going for another 1000yrs," stated President, John Loukadellis. .

"There were many prizes, food and drink as well as plenty of singing and entertainment for all who attended. Special mention to Sophia Louladellis-Tzanis who brought cognac from Antissa and baked a cake in memory of her fathers passing. Things like this always add a special touch to our ecclesiastical efforts."
