Helping out Ronald McDonald House
On Saturday, 13th March the Antissian Association of NSW has organised to attend at ‘working bee’ of duties and volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House in Randwick. As most of you will know, the Ronald McDonald House provides accommodation for country families whose children are being treated at the Sydney Children’s Hospital. Most families are under considerable stress during this time so any support we can provide to both family and staff, even for one day, is greatly appreciated.
Some of the duties will include cleaning windows, removing leaves off the play area, painting rooms for the kids, cleaning the general kitchen area, etc. The address is: 149-151 Barker Street, Randwick NSW 2031 and we will be there from 9am – lunch time.
Our community group will also be making a donation and putting on a BBQ for the families, staff and volunteers on the day, so, the first 30 people who get back to me will be our attendees.
Thank you and look forward to seeing you all on the day.
Regards
John Loukadellis
