Mytilenian Stall at the Greek Food Festival

Mytilenian Association Adds A Touch of Sweetness

On the 25th February 2012 the Greek Community of Wellington NZ held its annual Greek food festival next to the Greek Church, Hania Street Wellington. The weather forecast wasn’t too good, but it turned out to be a stunning day. This drew in the people especially around lunchtime.

There was plenty of Greek food, drink including a bar and dancing. "Each year the Mytilenians make and sell Loukoumades. We did very well from our sales and the Greek Community did very well overall. The comments I got from people are that they enjoyed the food and had a really good time and look forward to next year’s festival," said Mytilenian Association President.
