Ronald McDonald House Fund-Raising
On Saturday 13th March, 30 volunteers from both Macquarie Bank and the Antissian Association of NSW (Greek community group) will be completing a ‘working bee’ at the Ronald McDonald House in Randwick. Thank you to our volunteers for giving up their Saturday morning – I am sure the families you help will be very appreciative of your efforts.
On Sunday 14th March, the Antissian Association of NSW is holding a ‘traditional taverna night’ to help raise funds for the Ronald McDonald House in Randwick . For those who don’t know, the Ronald McDonald house provides accommodation for country families whose children are being treated at the Sydney Children’s Hospital. Most of the families are under considerable stress so your support and kindness is very much appreciated.
Details of the Taverna Night are as follows: When: Sunday, 14th March 2010 Where: Randwick Labour Club – 135 Alison Road , Randwick . (Thank you to Peter Leondios, Operations Manager at the RLC – great to see local businesses getting involved with local charities)
Time: 6.30 – 11pm Cost: $40.00 per person Dress: Smart Casual There will be plenty of food (Yes - BBQ Lamb is on the menu), drinks and prizes to be won on the night so, for a casual night out with friends and family, please let me know if you will be able to attend by Wednesday 10th March so I can provide the club with numbers.
