Volunteers: Helping Out the Children
Saturday, March 15, 2009
The Antissian Association of Sydney continued its philanthropic drive today with another most generous gesture- having a BBQ for the children of Ronald MacDonald House in Randwick.
The BBQ coincided with President, John Loukadellis, handing over a cheque for $3,000 to the "Family Food Fund" of Ronald McDonald House. As Macquarie Bank is commited to matching any fund raising made by the Antssean Association, Loukadellis made the announcement that the Bank will match this latest donation.

Over twenty five volunteers from the Antissian Association gave up their Saturday to make the BBQ such a success, not only cooking up a great BBQ but also playing several enjoyable activities with the children.

"It is most satisfying to provide help, support and relief in whatever way we can such an important organisation as Ronald MacDonald House, as it aids rural families who are faraway from home and attending to their children's health," said Association President, John Loukadellis, "and I would also thank all my volunteers for giving up their valuable time and making this day so special for the children".
Editor's Note: We would like to extend our congratulations to the Antissian Association President, John Loukadellis, and all his merry helpers for such a wonderful gesture. Kai sta anotera!!!
